Hubert Work: b. 1860; d. 1942. A physician and politician from Colorado who served as Secretary of the Interior from 1923-1928 under Presidents Harding and Coolidge. Created the Southern Appalachian Park Commission charged with determining the location of a national park in the eastern US.
