Biographical/Historical Note

The China-Burma-India Hump Pilots Association Inc. serves those World War II veterans who flew supplies into China from India over the Himalayas (which they termed the Hump) to support the Chinese war effort against the Japanese. This operation began in March of 1942 and ended in May of 1946 as the last units were removed from India.
