These eleven framed collages of photographs and correspondence dating from April 21, 1840 to September 12, 2001 bear the signatures of such presidents as James K. Polk, Benjamin Harrison, Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Harry S. Truman, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.

Biographical/Historical Note
Gary Johnson is an alumni of the University of Tennessee who has donated several important collections to the Special Collections Library. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.

This collection consists of eight boxes arranged in order of the Presidents' terms in office.
