Civil War-Era Cartes de Visite
This collection contains several cartes de visite and two tintype photographs of both prominent and unidentifiable Civil War era individuals. Neither the cartes de visite nor the tintype photographs are dated. Included in this collection are cartes de visite of prominent Civil War era generals such as Ulysses S. Grant, William T. Sherman, Ambrose E. Burnside, and William S. Rosecrans. There are also two cartes de visite of a J. Warthman included in this collection. The bulk of the cartes de visite in this collection include the photographer's studio on the back.
