This collection houses manuals, bulletins, and agendas documenting John L. Neely Jr.'s work with the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Biographical/Historical Note

John L. Neely Jr. was born August 11, 1899 to John and Varrie Leech Neely. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and went on to work with TVA and later as the physical plant chief with University of Tennessee from 1949 until his retirement in 1969. He married Louise Cook (1903-1990) in 1932. Neely died November 8, 1983.
