Mr Henry Hodge,
Hardeman Co.
Ten
Mr Hodge,
The mulatto woman of Mr French has been for sometime under my medical treatment for the Leuchorrhea or whites, a disease seldom or never fatal as you well know_ The woman appears to have improved rapidly in her health and is now nearly well, and I think will soon be so entirely_ I have given this memorandum at the request of Mr French according to your suggestions, in order to let you know her true condition.
May 27th 1837. _ Wm Travis.
