Biography / History

Bill Rice was born in 1912 in Dunn, Texas. He attended Decatur Baptist College and Moody Bible Institute. He then began conducting evangelical revivals with a cowboy theme, writing gospel songs, editing a Christian paper, and broadcasting a weekly radio show. He married Cathy (last name unknown), settled in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and started a Christian summer camp for the deaf called Bill Rice Ranch. He died in 1978.
