This collection is made up of a single folder.

This collection contains a typewritten newsletter given to soldiers and civilians stationed at the Allied Forces' military base in British Guiana. British Guiana, now the independent African nation of Guyana, was a stopping point for American military personnel on their way back to the United States for reassignment.

The newsletter is hand typed and contains snippets of news from around the world. Such news stories include the war crimes trial for atrocities committed at Dachau Internment Camp and General Douglas MacArthur's movements in Japan. The newsletter also includes an information page about the history, flora and fauna, and primary imports and exports of British Guiana
