Biography / History

The Tennessee Valley Authority was started by then President Franklin Roosevelt in 1933. Given the arduous task of helping the country out of the depression TVA is recognized as one the reasons America did bounce back from the Depression. Mainly a power supplier, TVA also helped in flood control, navigation, and reforestation.
