Biography / History

In 1942 at the age of 18, Edward P. Laughlin of Kansas City, MO, entered the Army, where he volunteered to be a paratrooper. His specialties as a paratrooper were as a demolitionist, a machine gunner, and a rifleman. Laughlin saw action throughout the European theatre. He also served as a combat infantryman in the Battle of the Bulge.
