Biography / History

Vicente Dauigoy was born in 1919 in Ilagan, Isabela, where he completed his primary and secondary education. Shortly before graduating Building Construction Courses, he was called up to enter Cadet Schooling in the Philippines. Dauigoy was honorably discharged in February, 1946.


Collection Scope and Content Note

The Vicente Dauigoy Papers, Undated, contain two memoirs of Vicente Dauigoy's service in World War II. Also included in the collection are a photograph of Dauigoy in 1998 and a copy of his Bronze Star Award.
