No biographical information could be located on Mary Ann Birchett or Mary Lusk. Her son may be W.G. Birchett of Stewart Co., TN, who committed suicide in July 1879.

This collection contains the 1842-1864 autograph book of Mary Ann Birchett (also addressed in entries as Mary Lusk) of Nashville, TN, which was given to her by her son W.G. Birchett on her 34th birthday (c. March 1842). There are entries from friends and family, including Maggie and Lilly Ramsey and "Cousin Will."
