William Jack & Sons were importers of china and glass. Their business was located at Southern Palace, No. 332 Main Street, Memphis, TN.


Collection Scope and Content Note

This collection contains a single receipt for tumblers dated June 22, 1888 from William Jack & Sons to J. M. Allen of Blue Springs, Mississippi. Allen purchased four cases of six dozen tumblers for two dollars each and was charged twenty-five cents for drayage, which was a low, heavy cart without sides, used for haulage.
