Mary Annie Landry was born in 1893. She attended the University of Tennessee from 1912-1916 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. This collection may be a course or school related project.


Collection Scope and Content Note

The collection contains a bound volume of sewing samples and notes by Mary Annie Landry. The binding is stamped "University of Tennessee." Most of the pages have various sewing samples. The final four pages consist of a section titled, "Physical Tests for Adulteration," with notes on different fabrics (cotton, wool, silk, and linen). Several of the fabric samples are missing.
