Biography / History
Major Paul Eave Divine (1871-1935) was a military officer, sheriff, and lawyer. On May 20, 1911, he formed the legal firm of Guinn & Divine with David M. Guinn in Johnson City, TN. He married Lula Belle Milburn in September 1906 and had two children, Milburn and Florence.

The Paul Divine Papers, 1892-1903, contains five documents, including four letters and a "Special Orders" from the military in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There are only three dated items from 1892, 1899, and 1902.
