The J.W. Hedgepeth Typescripts, n.d., are a draft and a final copy of an article on the history of the town of Denmark, TN, a town west of Jackson. In this five-page article, Hedgepeth traces the town's development from founding through the devastation wrought by a 1909 tornado. He lists important buildings and families, and he describes the town's importance as the founding place for the Big Hatchie Association, a Baptist organization which still operates in West Tennessee.
