Biography / History
Sheet music is best described as single sheets printed on one or both sides, folios (one sheet folded in half to form four pages), folios with a loose half-sheet inserted to yield six pages, double-folios (an inner folio inserted within the fold of an outer folio to make eight pages) and double-folios with a loose half-sheet inserted within the fold of an inner folio to produce ten pages.
Collection Scope and Content Note
This sheet music collection contains approximately 105 items which span the years 1899 to 1953. The bulk of the material is from both the 1910s and 1940s. For related materials, see MS-1071, MS-1072, MS-1130, MS-1231, and MS-1575.
