Collection consists of seven folders.

Established in Nashville, Tennessee in 1855, Mount Olivet Cemetery was originally reserved for white, Protestant individuals. By the end of the Civil War, more than 1,500 Confederate soldiers were buried there. In addition, it contains the graves of numerous important Tennessee political and business leaders.

This collection contains photocopies of the Mount Olivet Cemetery (Nashville, TN) interment records from 1855-1891. Consisting of more than 250 hand written pages listing the name, date and location of the person interred, some entries also list the cause of death. The collection also includes an index of those buried (by name) and date range for each page of records.
