Abstract: The June Frazier Collection is composed primarily of items documenting Jimmy Carter's presidency (Box 1, Folders 8, 12-3,16-7, 21-2, 24-5; Box 2, Folders 5-9, 14, 20-3, 27-8, 30). It also includes a copy of the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty of 1979 (Box 1, Folder 22) and a copy of Bill Clinton's 1992 Acceptance Address (Box 1, Folder 3).

Biography / History
June Frazier is a native of Newport, Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate education at Stevens College in Missouri and at the University of Tennessee. She moved to Washington D.C. following her husband's death in 1974. After holding several jobs in the D.C. area, she volunteered for the "Citizens for Carter" Campaign. She was eventually hired as the Protocol Officer in the Ceremonies Section of Protocol, where she handled VIPs, dignitaries, and other guests. Her official title was Protocol Officer in the Ceremonies Section of Protocol. She remained in this position until 1981, when she returned to Tennessee to be near her family.
