Abstract:
These nine boxes contain records, interviews, maps, news clippings, personal letters and recollections detailing experiences shared in World War II on both the European and Pacific fronts by American Infantrymen, Navymen, Airmen, and Nurses. Photographs and books written about their adventurers and bravery are also included, along with patches and awards received. The action photographs taken by Joseph Houston aboard the USS Enterprise and the photographs of Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri are especially interesting, along with photographs sent by D.G. Seymour showing a Nazi rally. The cards and letters sent to the family of Pvt. Dewey Murphy remind us of the price many soldiers paid in defending America.

These nine boxes contain records, interviews, maps, news clippings, personal letters and recollections detailing experiences shared in World War II on both the European and Pacific fronts by American Infantrymen, Navymen, Airmen, and Nurses.
