Collection consists of three boxes.

John Jennings Jr., a Representative from Tennessee was born in Jacksboro, Campbell County, Tennessee, June 6, 1880. He graduated from U. S. Grant University, Athens, Tennessee, in 1906. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1903. John Jennings Jr. was elected as a Republican to the 76th Congress to fill the vacancy caused by the death of J. Will Taylor. He was re-elected to the 77th, and the four succeeding Congresses. He served from December 30, 1939 to January 3, 1950.
