Collection consists of seven volumes.

Morris Bart was born on June 22, 1875 in Chechenova, Russia (now part of Poland). He emigrated to the United States in 1884 and eventually settled in Knoxville. Here, he managed the prominent Morris Bart Firm on Gay Street, which specialized in ladies' ready-to-wear clothing. Bart was married twice: once to Rosie (January 13, 1883-January 1, 1913) of Chechenova in 1902 and once to Sadie of New York. Morris Bart died on March 3, 1943 in Knoxville and is buried in the New Jewish Cemetery with his first wife and several of his children.
