Biography / History

Seventh President of the United States, Andrew Jackson was born in 1767. He served and became a national hero after the War of 1812, defeating the British in New Orleans. Politics changed through Jackson with the Democrats springing up, and the Whigs in great opposition. Jackson died in 1845 at his home in Hermitage, Tennessee.
