U.S. Governors' Wives
Title: Governors' Wives Recipe Collection, MS-3030
Abstract: Collection consists of 37 letters written by the wives of U.S. governors in 1973 to Mary Reed and Ann Mulroy. Reed and Mulroy requested that the ladies send in their favorite recipes for a cookbook that would support their club Hands Across America, which was an organization that focused on the contributions that senior citizens make to society.

Title: Receipt of Bounty for the Return of Stolen Horses, MS-2390
Abstract: This document contains a list of items given to two Cherokee Indians in exchange for the return of ten horses stolen from the Creek Nations. In lieu of money, the payment was in goods. The document was signed by several Indian Agents, including Francis B. Sappington, in December 1797 and January 1798.
