Keene, Sam	Title: Keene Family Papers, MS-3191 Abstract: This collection consists of materials documenting the Keene family of Westmoreland, Tennessee from 1929 to 1951. It is composed primarily of correspondence addressed to Sam and Minnie Keene from various family members. Other materials include receipts for farm supplies, electric bills, New Deal era farming information, notes, music, and a 1936 presidential election ballot. These materials were originally housed in a satchel, which is preserved in this collection.

Kefauver, Carey Estes	Title: Estes Kefauver Milk Industry Letter, MS-2365 Abstract: The January 12, 1960, letter from Senator Estes Kefauver, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Antitrust and Monopoly of the Committee on the Judiciary, to Mr. D. Temple in New York refers to the milk industry and selling out-dated milk in stores.
Kefauver, Carey Estes	Title: Estes Kefauver Campaign Handouts, MS-2927 Abstract: This collection consists of three political handouts concerning the 1956 presidential race between Adlai Stevenson (whose running mate was Estes Kefauver) and Dwight Eisenhower. These items include an anti-Kefauver booklet explaining why Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon will do better in the White House as well as a booklet of pro-Kefauver songs.
Kefauver, Carey Estes.	Title: Estes Kefauver Papers, MS-2337 Abstract: This collection, the Estes Kefauver Papers, 1943-1964, contains 67 letters to or from Kefauver corresponding with other political figures. Many of the letters are thank you notes, opinions on particular bills, and for political appointments. There is also a photograph of Kefauver and Walter Scheel of Germany, as well as two letters that do not pertain to Kefauver, both of which are to Edwin Michael Hoffman of North Carolina.

Title: Nellie Kenyon Scrapbook Addition, MS-2184 Abstract: This addition to the Nellie Kenyon Scrapbooks contains a scrapbook on the Nellie Kenyon Day at UT's College of Communications on January 8, 1974, with letters about the event, pictures from her lecture, and reports that journalism students wrote on her afterwards, and there is a November 1977 copy of The Tennessean Magazine in this collection, with articles by Kenyon and H.L. Mencken on the Scopes Monkey Trial.

On the reverse side is the title of the image, the latitude and longitude of the site, a brief explanation of crop rotation and fertilization as methods of dealing with farming problems, and a description of phosphates.

Porter, corresponding secretary of the American Sunday School Union. It acknowledges the receipt of five libraries and states to which schools those books went. Kingsley, Roswell, 1837-1876	Title: Roswell Kingsley Papers, MS-3 Abstract: Consists primarily of letters from Kingsley to his wife, the former Nannie Worley, in Greeneville, TN. Kingsley's travels along the Mississippi River are discussed in a number of letters from 1857 and 1858. A number of Civil War-era letters can also be found in the collection. Also included are some letters from the Worley family.
Kirk, Felix	Title: Felix Kirk Letter, MS-2152 Abstract: Collection contains a letter from Felix Kirk in Chattanooga, Tenn., dated November 14, 1861. Kirk, a soldier with the 38th Tennessee Infantry (C.S.A.), writes to his father concerning his illness as well as some old union devil who burned a bridge.

Klein, Milton	Title: Bicentennial Constitution Collection, MS-2074 Abstract: This collection consists of five series related to the United States Bicentennial, the Constitution Celebration and the Bill of Rights Celebration. The materials are dated between 1976 and 1992. The collection contains many documents owned by Dr. Milton Klein, who served on several Bicentennial committees. Dr. Klein was a faculty member of the University of Tennessee History Department and the University Historian.

Knox County (Tenn.)	Title: Knox County, Tenn., Land Deeds, MS-2819 Abstract: This collection contains six land deeds and two land grants from Knox County and, specifically, Knoxville, Tennessee. The land grants are signed by governors of Tennessee, William Carroll in 1839 and William B. Campbell in 1852. Two clerks, M.S. Patterson and R. A. Brown signed the Clerk and Master's Deeds.

They consist of court testimony from 1794, signed by F.A. Ramsey and Gavin Black, a court order and a marriage certificate from 1821, and a State of Tennessee Bank receipt from 1832.

The petitions included in this collection were accepted by the General Assembly, which created by legislative act both Anderson and Roane counties on November 6, 1801.

The collection material contains correspondence and other documents from the numerous organizations that were instrumental in bringing the World's Fair to Knoxville in 1982.

Knoxville First Lutheran Church	Title: Knoxville First Lutheran Church Bulletin, MS-2573 Abstract: The Knoxville First Lutheran Church Bulletin, 1944, is one copy of First Lutheran Church's bulletin made for those in service and the congregation. The Bulletin tried to connect local service men and women while they were away, and to keep the local community informed.
Knoxville Gardens	Title: Knoxville Gardens Slides, MS-1324 Abstract: This collection is actually two copies of one set of slides. The original slides are typical of early 20th century slides, and the collection is organized by the numbers found on these originals. There are also copies of these slides made on modern slides. The number of these slides follows the descriptions of the slide (as written by the photographer or collector).
Knoxville Journal & Tribune	Title: Knoxville Journal & Tribune Assignment Book, MS-2197 Abstract: This collection contains a newspaper assignment book for the Knoxville Journal and Tribune from January 1 to December 31, 1911. Each page is dated and completed in ink with the stories a reporter was assigned to and the items that needed to be looked up that day.
Knoxville Photographers	Title: Early Knoxville Photographs Collection, MS-2512 Abstract: This collection consists of a number of portrait photographs taken by 40 Knoxville photography firms between approximately 1870 and 1900.

Knoxville Technical Society	Title: Knoxville Technical Society Papers, MS-1128 Abstract: The collection covers the Society's business from 1931 to 1988, with the majority of material covering 1950-1982. Boxes 1-4 deal with different committees, membership events, president's file, and other business relating to scientific problems. Boxes 5-8 contain administrative material (board minutes, presidential correspondence, etc.). Boxes 9-11 house various technical pamphlets and publications which include Soupcon, the Knoxville Technical Society Weekly Newsletter.

Also included are reports of annual meetings, committee meetings, and nominating committee meetings. The newsletter of the Society, "The Technical Soupcon", is included in the collection. These issues are for the period of January 1972-November 1989. The yearbooks of the society (1949-1986) are included in the collection.
